A first-of-its-kind regional platform bringing together world-leading innovators, universities, business leaders and emerging technology.
Founded and delivered by Nick Rutherford, Bristol Technology Showcase brought together speakers, exhibitors and delegates to celebrate world-leading technologies being developed across Bristol and the wider South West.
The Showcase combined thought leadership, live demonstrations and debate. Its purpose was simple: make complex emerging technologies understandable, relevant and memorable for business leaders and decision-makers.
The event became a founding part of Bristol Technology Festival and demonstrated the region’s strength across technology, research, creativity and industrial innovation.

The programme looked beyond technology for its own sake and explored the implications for organisations, society and the region.
Artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, haptics, spatial interaction, connected mobility, vertical farming and advanced industrial design.
Helping executives understand what new technologies could mean for strategy, investment, workforce capability and customer experience.
Exploring ethics, regulation, civic partnerships, circular economies and the responsibilities that accompany innovation.
Bristol Technology Showcase demonstrated Nick’s ability to turn an idea into a credible platform: establishing partnerships, attracting recognised speakers and exhibitors, and creating an audience in which business leaders represented more than two-thirds of delegates.
The same philosophy continues through ENMAR: making complex technology accessible, bringing the right people together and helping organisations navigate what comes next.
